Stockbridge is a busy market town with a wide main street filled with pleasingly varied antique shops, galleries, pubs and houses.

Five minutes down the road, the beautiful Longstock Park Water Garden is open to the public on behalf of a charity on the first and third Sunday of the month, from April to September inclusive, from 2pm - 5pm.

Stonehenge, the New Forest, Mottisfont Abbey and Broadlands are all within its ambit.

For walkers, the Test Valley is considered a well deserved paradise.
